SONOSAX SX-M2/NV Technical information

This version of the stereo microphone amplifier including a multi-pin connector. It is a easy way to

add 2 microphones inputs to your NAGRA V.

WARNING: your NAGRA V must be equipped with a 1,5A fuse inside (F4). The SONOSAX SX-M2 as a current consumption of only 50mA, but needs more to be started.

Please, consult your NAGRA dealer first!

When the SONOSAX SX-M2 is connected to the NAGRA V, the power switch of the SX-M2 must be in the “OFF” position to be powered from the NAGA V. This is to avoid conflict with batteries, if they are installed.

The “ON LED” is flashing fast, like when the battery are lo. This is correct, the NAGRA V is only supplying 12Volts.

NOTE: To avoid the batteres of the NAGRA V being discharged, it is important to unplug the SX-M2 when not in use.

BINDER connector 7 poles female, nr 99-9476-102-07

PIN 1 + 7 = shield (GND)

PIN 2 = white (LEFT-)

PIN 3 = gray (LEFT+)

PIN 4 = yellow (+12V)

PIN 5 = green (RIGHT+)

PIN 6 = braun (RIGHT-)

NAGRA V side:

D-SUB HIGH DENSITY 15 poles male, nr 101A-15MSPAAA3 or similar, with hoods and long screws, nr 329 431-7 or similar

PIN 1 = NC

PIN 2 = yellow (+12V)

PIN 3 = NC

PIN 4 = NC

PIN 5 = NC

PIN 6 = NC

PIN 7 = NC

PIN 8 = green (RIGHT+)

PIN 9 = NC

PIN 10 = braun (RIGHT-)

PIN 11 = shield (GND)

PIN 12 = white (LEFT-)
